Seeking China Heritage (寻华遗韵) works with travel partners to bring these stories closer to their travellers through Heritage AI, supported by deep heritage research.
Our aim is simple: to help travellers go beyond “What am I looking at?” and discover why a place matters, who shaped its story, and how it connects with the wider heritage of China.
Heritage AI for Travel Partners
Heritage AI Travel Companion is our primary offering for travel partners who want to add a deeper heritage dimension to their China journeys.
It can be prepared around a partner's existing itinerary and the heritage places their travellers visit, without requiring the tour itself to be redesigned.
Travellers can ask their own questions as they explore and receive concise, traveller-friendly answers supported by deeper heritage research. They can explore historical events and personalities, stories and legends, connections between places, details worth noticing, and how a place changed through time.
Heritage AI complements, rather than replaces, the tour guide. A guide must serve the interests of an entire group; Heritage AI allows each traveller to follow their own curiosity.
Designed for travellers' own mobile devices, it provides another layer of discovery before, during or after a visit.
From Real Heritage to the World of Wuxia
Heritage is not encountered only through historical sites.
For many travellers, their first connection with China may come through Wuxia (武侠) — the world of martial heroes, Jianghu, legendary swordsmen and stories made famous through novels, film, television and popular culture.
Heritage AI allows travellers to explore the real China behind the Wuxia world.
They can ask about places associated with Wuxia stories, distinguish historical figures from fictional characters and later legends, explore the cultural ideas behind Jianghu and martial traditions, and discover how real mountains, temples, cities and landscapes became part of China's Wuxia imagination.

Working With Travel Partners
Seeking China Heritage specialises in heritage interpretation, research and storytelling.
We are not a tour operator or travel planner. We do not arrange or operate tours, accommodation, transport or other travel services.
Our role is to add a deeper heritage layer to journeys offered by travel partners through:
Heritage AI Travel Companion, including Heritage Mode and Wuxia exploration;
deep heritage research supporting relevant destinations, places and themes; and
Signature Series heritage concepts.
Travel planning, bookings and on-the-ground operations remain with the travel partner and its appointed service providers.
This allows partners to retain their own itineraries, operations and traveller relationships while offering travellers another way to explore China's heritage.
